At approximately 6 pm, Barrie Police received several calls for an accident on Bayfield St near Ferris lane.
Police arrived and found two minor accidents and a medical emergency.
Barrie Fire tended to the medical emergency which was not connected to the accidents.
The accidents resulted in southbound Bayfield St being closed to allow the vehicles to be removed from the roadway.
The driver of the “at fault†was found to have registered a warn on a roadside alcohol and was served a three (3) day licence suspension.
In addition he was found to have caused the accident by running a red light and was charged accordingly.
