A Call To Action: Save Wingham Trailer Park – Revolution Continues Monday Night – Bring Democracy Back To NH

Monday September 12, 7:00pm there is a Committee of the Whole
meeting (COW).  At COW meetings, the department heads deliver
reports and answer questions from Council and the Public
Gallery. 

If you want to save the Wingham trailer park, you must attend the
COW meeting on Monday night.  The public must demand that
Council rescind M338/11 at the next Council Meeting.  The
barrage of emails and calls Neil Vincent has received and the
overflowing council chamber of those in favour of keeping the
trailer park, has failed to make the slightest impact on
Council.  Even if you have contacted council and voiced your
opinion already, you must do so again.  The residents and
guests of the trailer park, as well as neighboring property owners
must show up in solidarity and demand that their voices be
heard.  All North Huron residents that are fed up with
Council’s actions over the last decade must show up and demand
change. 

Council must be made to capitulate to the will of the people. 
We pay them to represent us, their constituents.  If they can
not made to obey the mass majority, democracy in North Huron will
cease to exist. 

The balance of power is slowly changing in North Huron. 
Currently all the power resides with Department heads.  This is
a result of over a decade of lack of leadership by Council and
Reeves.  Some Councillors are trying to regain control of our
town from the current Heads of Departments.  One Councillor’s
attempt resulted in the infamous Bailey Gag Order”.  Power
must be returned to the people
