80 Year Old Owen Sound Driver Hits Grave Marker In Chatsworth

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On March 15, 2016, at approximately 2:08 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy. 6 & 10 south of Grey Rd. 16 in the Township of Chatsworth.

A 2014 Ford FEE vehicle was being operated southbound on the highway when the vehicle crossed the northbound lane and left the roadway. The vehicle collided with a grave marker at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery located on the east side of the highway.

The lone driver, an 80-year old female from Owen Sound, had suffered a medical condition and was transported by ambulance to hospital for treatment.
