(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate after an elderly man was assaulted outside of his business on Sunday, March 22, 2015.
At approximately 1:37 p.m., March 22nd, Grey County OPP received a report of an assault at the Coffee Team coffee shop located at the junction of Hwy. 6 & 10, Chatsworth, in the Township of Chatsworth.
The owner of the coffee shop confronted two males after they were found urinating against the side of the building. During the confrontation, a third male suspect exited a vehicle, approached the owner and pushed him to the ground. All three males, described to be in their 20’s, fled the scene in a 2011 black Honda ASE, northbound on Hwy. 6 &10. The 78 year old victim was not injured.
Police continue to investigate.
