(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On Saturday December 9, 2017 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifting at the No Frills grocery store on Main Street North, Mount Forest. OPP were contacted when a customer left the store, evading staff, with over $300 in mostly high ticket groceries.
77-year-old Eric Roland ACKLAND Jr. of Mount Forest was arrested and charged for Theft Under $5,000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 2, 2018. He has also been banned from Loblaw Stores indefinitely.
