75 Year Old Drinking Driver Caught

(HURON EAST, ON) – A 75 year old driver from Huron East was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension after he was pulled over in Seaforth yesterday afternoon (13April). Just before 2:00 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped the driver of a GMC sports utility vehicle for a random sobriety check on Goderich Street. Upon speaking with the driver officers noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a fail. He was arrested and transported to the Exeter OPP Detachment for breath tests. Upon providing his breath tests his Blood Alcohol Concentration (B.A.C) had lowered into the warn range level. As a result he was released from custody and served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
