73 Year Old Has Wallet Stolen After Criminals Follow Him And Record Pin Numbers – Do You Recognize These Criminals?

Mississauga – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a male and female after a 73 year-old senior had his wallet stolen.

On Sunday May 29, 2016 at approximately 12:45 p.m., the victim and his wife were shopping at a grocery store in the area of Glen Erin Drive and Thomas Street in the City of Mississauga. The suspects removed the victim’s wallet while he was placing grocery items on his bike. Video surveillance prior to the theft showed that the suspects appeared to have been following seniors throughout the store and noting down PIN numbers while the victims made their purchases.

The suspects are described as follows;

Suspect #1 – female, white, 25 years, dark coloured white striped ball cap, medium build, white shirt, carrying a purse/handbag.

Suspect #2 – male white, 25-30 years, with a short beard, short dark brown hair, medium build, wearing a black Yankees baseball cap, black and white checked button down shirt.

Peel Regional Police believe these suspects are also responsible for a similar incident that occurred on March 17, 2016, when an 82-year old victim’s wallet was stolen.

Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects and to come forward if they have been a victim of a similar type of incident.
