73 Year Old Gets 3 Day Suspension

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer recently served a 73 year old driver with a three day driver’s licence suspension following a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) traffic stop. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on January 31, 2014 a grey Chevrolet Silverado pickup entered a R.I.D.E checkpoint located on Bayfield Road at the west edge of Clinton.

Upon speaking with the driver, officers noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered which resulted in a warn range reading.

As a result, the 73 year old male driver from Central Huron was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
