(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Saturday December 29, 2014, shortly after 4 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a speeding westbound pickup truck on Line 26 south of Sebringville. The officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage on the male driver’s breath. The driver was given a roadside breath test which he failed. The male was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville, where he also failed Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Gregory DENOMME (73) from Bluewater has been charged with, “driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in bloodâ€, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on February 09, 2015 to answer to this charge. He was issued a 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
