On April 12, 2106 17 8:00 a.m., a 46 year old Mississauga man was operating his Freightliner tractor trailer unit, travelling south on Hespeler Road approaching the intersection of Maplegrove Road, in the City of Cambridge. A 72 year old Cambridge man operating a school bus with 14 students aboard was stopped in the left turn lane northbound at the intersection of Hespeler Road and Maplegrove Road, waiting to turn left. The school bus made the left turn in front of the tractor trailer unit, resulting in a collision. None of the involved parties were seriously injured. The bus driver was charged as a result of the collision.
