Break and enter
On September 21, 2015 at 8:43 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Woodlawn Road West business to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) broke a lock on an outside bin and stole scrap metal sometime overnight.

On September 21, 2015 at 12:06 p.m., the Guelph Police went to a Harrison Avenue residence to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) entered the garage through an unlocked back door and stole a bicycle sometime overnight.

Pedestrian struck
On September 21, 2015 at 12:30 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Woodland Glen Drive for a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle. It is alleged that the pedestrian was crossing the street when he was struck by a pickup truck. The pedestrian received minor injuries and the driver, a 71-year-old Waterdown man has been charged with fail to yield to pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
Theft from cars
On September 21, 2015 the Guelph Police received two reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Waterloo Avenue and Kensington Street.
This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
