(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – Today at approximately 8:10 a.m.Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus and a pick-up truck at the intersection of Maltby Road and Crawley Road in Puslinch Township.
Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS) attended along with Puslinch Fire and Rescue.
Investigation revealed that a 2002 GMC pick-up truck was southbound on Crawley Road and collided with a school bus that was eastbound on Maltby Road in Puslinch Township. Crawley Road is controlled by a stop sign at this intersection.
Both drivers, along with 5 students were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. There were 19 children from the Aberfoyle Public School on the bus at the time of the collision.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time and more information will be released as it becomes available.
