7-11 Robbery

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for information regarding a robbery in Chatham early this morning.

At approximately 1:47 a.m. an unknown suspect entered the main doors of the 7-11 Store on Grand Avenue West. The suspect had their face covered and handed the employee a threatening note demanding money. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect fled the area on foot. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect was last seen wearing light coloured jeans, white long sleeve shirt, full black ski mask and black gloves.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Constable Paul Brophy of the Major Crime Unit at 519-436-6600 extension #207. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
