$687,000 Drug Bust In Brockton

(Brockton, ON) – On August 26, 2015, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the West Region Emergency Response Team, and South Bruce OPP executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a property on Bruce County Road 20, in the Municipality of Brockton.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant police seized cannabis marihuana plants, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated, combined value of the seized controlled substances is $687,000.00.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of marihuana and cannabis resin production equipment and marihuana trafficking equipment.

Fifty-one-year old James QUINN of Brockton was arrested and charged with production of marihuana, possession of marihuana for the purposes of trafficking, production of cannabis resin, and possession of cannabis resin.

QUINN was held for a bail hearing on the 27th of August, 2015.
