On June 13th 2016, at approximately 3:30 p.m. a 67 year old Kitchener male entered the crosswalk on Ottawa Street at Old Chicopee Drive, Kitchener. The male was struck by a Grand River Transit bus turning left. The bus had three occupants including the driver who were not injured. As a result of the collision the Kitchener male pedestrian was taken to Grand River Hospital by EMS with minor injures. Traffic Services attended and investigated the collision. Charges are pending.
