On Saturday January 10, 2015 at approximately 1:10pm a 69 year old Kitchener male was attempting to park his 2012 Chrysler 200 at 310 Fairway Road when he accidently stepped on the gas instead of his brake pedal. This caused his vehicle to mount the curb and struck a 62 year old Fergus woman who was walking on the sidewalk in front of a store. The woman was transported to a local hospital with a possible knee injury. No charges are expected to be laid.
