61 Year Old Runs Stop Sign – 2 Vehicle Crash

(BRANT TWP, ON) – On November 29th, 2011 at 9:19 am, the South Bruce OPP received a call to a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 3 and County Road 2, Brant Township. Officers arrived to find that a Brown Ford Taurus travelling along County Road 2 went through a stop sign, almost hitting a Black Honda ULX travelling along County Road 3. The driver of the Honda avoided the Taurus, but entered the ditch where his vehicle received minor damage. The driver of the Taurus, 61 year old Andries WOUDSTRA of Durham, was charged with Fail to stop at stop sign. There were no injuries reported at the crash.
