(SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – On March 23rd, 2011 at 12:50 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a report of an overnight theft from a vehicle that was parked at a residence along James Street in Paisley. Sometime between 10:00 pm on March 22nd, 2011 and 6:00 am on March 23rd, 2011, the vehicle was entered and $600 cash was taken. Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers. The South Bruce OPP is taking this opportunity to remind residents of the Auto Theft Protection Tips from the Lock it or Lose it program:
o Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and pocket the key.
o If you have a garage, use it. Lock the vehicle and the garage door as well.
o If no garage, always park your vehicle in a well lit area.
