60 Eggs And 24 Beers Stolen From Unlocked Garage

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday April 22, 2012, Perth County OPP officers in West Perth were called to attend at a residence on Quebec St. in Mitchell where the homeowner reported thefts from an attached garage.

Sometime between 10 p.m. on Saturday April 21, 2011 and 12:30 p.m. on Sunday April 22, 2012, unknown suspects entered the victim’s garage by an unlocked man-door. A full case (24) of Laker Lager Beer and two flats containing a total of 60 eggs were removed from the fridge located in the garage.

The victim advised police that she found it odd that many of the neighbours on Quebec St. were washing their cars on Sunday morning. After discovering the entry into her garage and the theft of beer and eggs, the connection was made.
