(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On August 1, 2017 at approximately 4:45 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and motor vehicle in a parking lot at a plaza on Bayfield Street North.
An initial Police investigation revealed that a driver of a motor vehicle drove forward into a young male who was walking on the sidewalk.
This young male a 6 year old from Springwater Twp. was transported with life threatening injuries to a Hospital in Toronto, Ontario.
Charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm” is a 16 year old male from Springwater Twp. First appearance is September 7
