Project Ice was initiated in December 2014 as a result of the sudden increase in the use and distribution of Crystal Meth and the coinciding increase in violence and other drug related crimes. This project sought to identify and charge those who traffic or distribute Crystal Meth and other illicit drugs within our community.
Today, one man charged through the Project Ice investigation for trafficking Crystal Meth and possessing Crystal Meth as well as Criminal Code charges related to a home invasion received a six year jail term.
