(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On March 16, 2018 at approximately 6:41 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three vehicle collision on Highway 10 near Southgate Road 24 in the Township of Southgate.
Investigation revealed that a van travelling northbound on Highway 10 crossed over into the southbound lane and collided with a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and a passenger vehicle.
The driver of the van, 34-year old Amanda KELLY of the Township of Southgate was issued a Provincial Offence Notice (PON) for Careless Driving. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries and released.
The driver of the SUV, a 38-year old female from Owen Sound and four children between the ages of one and eleven, were taken to hospital with minor injuries and released. The driver of the third vehicle, a 56-year old male from Owen Sound, was not injured.
