On Wednesday, July 27th 2016,at 2:10 p.m., police received a report of a possible criminal offence in the area of Mill Street and Courtland Avenue in the City of Kitchener. Police attended the area and received information that a python snake approximately 6 feet in length had escaped its enclosure and was at large. Police conducted a check of the area with negative results. Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society is aware of the situation and should be contacted if the snake is located. The snake should not be approached.
