55 Year Old Drunk Driver Arrested – ROMPHF

(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) – On June 2, 2019, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol and conducted a traffic stop on McGillivray Drive, in the Municipality of North Middlesex.

Upon further investigation, police determined that the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.

As a result of the police investigation, Jeffrey ROMPHF, 55-year-old of Strathroy, Ontario was charged, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC);

Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was issued a 90 day Automatic Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. They are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London, Ontario on July 4, 2019.
