(GODERICH, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating a break, enter and theft at a residence located on North Street in Goderich. The owner reported to police the crime took place between 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on March 24, 2012. Those responsible forced entry by prying open a door and once inside sterling silverware and jewellery were stolen. Among the stolen items were:
88 pieces of sterling silverware with “Badroon†pattern
4 yellow gold bracelets
A yellow gold tennis bracelet
Set of sapphire earrings
Set of diamond studded gold earrings
A yellow gold diamond ring
A gold watch with a pink sapphire.
The total value of the stolen items is believed to be just over $50,000.
