$45,000 Drug Bust In London

On Thursday, January 29, 2015, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, were assisted by members of the Investigation Response Unit and the Uniformed Division with executing a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at two London residences – one on Wavell Street and another on Oxford Street East.

Everton Gayle was arrested in relation to this investigation as well as an immigration warrant.

The following was seized:
– 170.2 grams of crack cocaine – $17,020
– 1,678 grams of marihuana bud – $16,780

Seized currency – approximately $12,000

As a result of the investigation, Everton Gayle (47) of London, was charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
– Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2);
– Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section CDSA 5(2); and
– Possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to section 4(1).

Everton Gayle has also been charged with public mischief/false name, contrary to section 140(1)(b).

Sasha Moxley, (26) of London, has been charged with possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
