(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On October 9, 2017 at approximately 10:00 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on County 7, near South Street, Township of Centre Wellington. The officer observed a male driving a 2007 Landrover at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 103 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
44-year-old Kulbir BAL of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on December 6, 2017. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
