(BROCKTON, ON) – A driver from Teeswater will be without a licence for the next 90 days following her arrest and subsequent charge of Operation with 80 Plus.
On Monday, February 17, 2020 at approximately 1:38 a.m. a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer came across a motor vehicle that was stopped on the shoulder of Concession 8 near Bruce Road 19. The driver was outside of the vehicle momentarily and then entered back into the driver’s seat.
The officer stopped and checked on the driver and while speaking with the occupants of the vehicle the odour of alcohol was detected. A roadside screening test was conducted and the driver registered a fail. As a result the driver was arrested and transported to the Walkerton OPP detachment for breath tests.
The driver later provided two samples of her breath to the intoxilizer technician and both of her test results were analyzed to be above the legal limit.

She was also served with a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and her vehicle was impounded.
