4 Vehicle Chain Reaction Collision In Owen Sound

At approximately 1:50 pm a 25 year old Milverton man was driving his sedan eastbound along 10th Street West in the curb lane. Upon reaching the 200 block, he didn’t notice that vehicles ahead had stopped on a green light as traffic congestion prevented them from entering the intersection. The 25 year old proceeded to collide into the rear of a vehicle that then collided into another that then collided into another. In total, 4 vehicles sustained minor damages and all were driveable. The Milverton driver escaped without injuries however the 3 other drivers and a passenger all attended the hospital for minor injuries. The Milverton man was charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
