(LISTOWEL, ON) – On July 14, 2019 at approximately 11:45 a.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth detachment observed a motor vehicle travelling on Main Street west in Listowel. The officer determined that the vehicle was being operated without proper licence plates and was later stopped by police.
The male driver was arrested and charged.
Thomas YANTHA, 37-years-old, of North Perth was charged the following;
Flight from peace officer
Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on August 12, 2019 to answer the charges.
