On Saturday, April 29, 2017, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, conducted a drug trafficking investigation that led to the arrest of two London males. The following items were seized:
1 kg of methamphetamine
A one gram vial of methamphetamine
As a result of the investigation, two adult males were charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
William Boyd (42 years):
Unlawfully possess a schedule I substance, contrary to section 4(1); and
Possess a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2).
Abdisalan Abdi (47 years):
Traffic in schedule I substance , contrary to section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Total Drugs Seized: $35,400
Total Currency Seized: $2000
