A 34 year old British Columbia male was stopped by police after exceeding the posted speed limit heading east bound on Dunlop Street East at Bayfield Street.
After being stopped by the police, the investigating officer detected an odor of alcohol emitting from the males mouth area.
The male provided a road side screening device breath test and failed.
The male was then placed under arrested for operating a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol.
At the police station the male provided two breath samples into a breathalyzer and the results being they were both twice over the legal limit.
As the male was from British Columbia and to assure his attendance in court he was held for a bail hearing.
