(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) -On December 2, 2017 at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting Reduced Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) checks on County Road 124 at Watson Road North, Township of Guelph-Eramosa.
A male operating a 2016 Ford entered the RIDE check. Officers detected the odour of fresh marihuana from inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and a search of the motor vehicle resulted in a quantity of marihuana being seized.
32-year-old Ibrahim SALEH of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marihuana over 30 grams. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 29, 2017 to answer to the charge.
