31 Year Old Suspended Driver Arrested For Being Out After Curfew

(HURON EAST, ON) – A 31-year-old from Clinton will be making an upcoming trip to court to explain his reasons for driving without a valid licence and staying out past his court imposed curfew.

Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on January 20, 2018 Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers had occasion to stop the driver of a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck that was seen driving around Seaforth. Officers were familiar with the driver and it was believed that he was driving with a suspended driver’s licence.

Upon stopping the driver and making some checks not only did the officers determine the driver held a suspended licence but it was also revealed the driver was out past his 10:00 p.m. court imposed curfew.

As a result, Mark KEARNS, 31 years of age was placed under arrest and charged. He is facing charges of Drive While Under Suspension and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. He remains in custody with an upcoming court appearance.
