(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the overnight theft of a Ford pickup truck that was stolen early Monday morning from a Cardiff Road residence.
Police believe the truck was stolen sometime between 1:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on April 25, 2016. The truck was parked in the laneway with the doors unlocked and the keys left in the ignition. The thief also stole a tool box, two fishing rods and a tackle box from the vehicle.
The stolen pickup truck is described as a black, 2013 Ford F-150, 4-wheel drive pickup truck. The truck has chrome plated mud guards behind the front tires. The truck is also equipped with extended side mirrors.
The truck is valued at approximately $30,000.

Lock the doors and pocket the keys when you park your car.
Always park your vehicle in a well-lit area.
If you have a garage, use it and lock the garage door as well as your vehicle.
Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running
Never leave valuable objects or packages in full view
Always roll up your vehicle’s windows
Watch out for suspicious people or activity in your neighbourhood. Call police immediately, don’t delay; your information may help solve a crime.
