Thief Swipes Expensive Camera Equipment 2013-03-21
(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a daring theft of professional camera equipment that occurred in Exeter yesterday afternoon. Just before 1:30 p.m. the victim exited her Andrew Street residence with a large wheeled camera bag containing several pieces of camera equipment when her dog broke free into the yard. She placed her camera bag beside her vehicle and chased the dog into the rear yard. A few minutes later when she returned to the front yard she discovered her camera bag and equipment had been stolen.
Police were immediately contacted and a search of the area was conducted with negative results locating the thief.
