$30,000 Chevrolet Silverado Stolen – Replaced With Stolen Minivan

(HOWICK TWP, ON) – Huron Ontario Provincial Police officers are investigating the early morning theft of a black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Just prior to 6:00 a.m. on February 20, 2012 officers responded to Pentastic Motors located on Harriston Road in Howick Twp for the theft. Upon arrival, officers located a 1999 green Plymouth Voyageur minivan with the engine running. Investigation revealed this van had been stolen overnight from a parking lot on Wallace Avenue South in Listowel. The van was then driven to Pentastic Motors and was used to ram through the security gate at the front entrance. After gaining access to the property the suspects switched vehicles and left in the Silverado travelling eastbound on Harriston Road.

The Chevrolet Silverado is a 2500 diesel, crew cab, with a hard top bed cover, and the word “Diesel” was written on the front windshield in yellow. The pickup truck is valued at approximately $30,000.
