(ST.MARYS, ON) On Wednesday morning July 06, 2011 the Perth County OPP in St.Marys received a report rims and tires stolen from the St.Marys Ford Sales Ltd. sales lot on Queen St. West.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Wednesday July 06, 2011, unknown persons entered the sales lot on the south side of Queen St. West and removed 30 rims and tires from vehicles. The vehicles were jacked up and wooden blocks were placed underneath. Six Ford F-150 pickup trucks and a number of other vehicles had rims with tires removed. Rims range in size from 18 – 22 inches, and the brand names of the tires include Michelin, Goodyear and Pirelli.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen persons around the dealership during the time in question or who may have seen vehicles in the west end of St.Marys carrying tires and rims to contact them.
