On December 9, 2014 at 4:30 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the intersection of Norfolk Street and Suffolk Street for a three vehicle collision. Investigation alleges that a black Acura struck another vehicle that had stopped for a red light. That car then struck the car in front of it. Police spoke with the female driver of the Acura and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. She failed this test and was arrested.
Tracy Cannata, 50 years of Whitby has been charged with drive over 80 mg. She was also charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act. She will appear in court on December 23, 2014.
