(WALKERTON, ON) – On December 26, 2019 at 6:17 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 3 vehicle collision at the intersection of Durham Street and Jackson Street in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) westbound on Durham Street entered the intersection and was struck by a pick-up truck that was southbound on Jackson Street. The impact pushed the SUV into a third vehicle that was facing eastbound on Durham Street.
The driver of the SUV, Durick ELLIOTT, 49-years-old, of Chatham, was charged with fail to stop for red light. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
