(TOWSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – Today at approximately 7:45 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Centre Wellington Fire and Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services responded to a report of a serious three vehicle collision on Highway 6 near Ennotville, Township of Centre Wellington.
Highway 6 is currently closed between 6th Line and Eighth Line (County 22) while emergency personnel attend to the collision.
One driver has been transported by land ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of what is believed to be minor injuries. One party remains trapped with unknown injuries. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
The investigation is ongoing. Updates will follow as information becomes available.
