3 Day Warn Range Suspensions

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 50 year old male driver from Cambridge has lost his driving privileges for three days following a traffic stop last night. Around 11:40 p.m. officers stopped the driver of a blue Dodge Avenger after noticing the vehicle had tried to avoid a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint. The vehicle was stopped just north of Bayfield on Bluewater Veterans Highway. Upon speaking with the driver it was noticed the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension. A driver’s licence check also revealed the driver was unlicensed. He was served a ticket and a three day driver’s licence suspension.

(BLUEWATER, ON) – A 57 year old male driver from Brant County is without a driver’s licence for the next three days after blowing a warn last night. Shortly before 11:00 p.m. the driver of a Hyundai Sante Fe entered the Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) program set up at Bluewater Veterans Highway and Main Street South in Bayfield. Officers detected the driver had been drinking alcohol, a roadside screening device was utilized and the driver registered a warn range reading. He was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
