3 Day Suspension at RIDE

(HOWICK, ON) – On December 21, 2011 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Huron County OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check on Centre Street in Wroxeter when a Chevrolet pickup entered the checkpoint. Officers spoke with the driver and noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A 3 day driver’s licence suspension was issued following a warn reading at the roadside. Motorists are reminded that impaired driving by alcohol or drug is an unacceptable threat to public safety. Huron County OPP has a zero tolerance for drinking and driving.
