(PERTH COUNTY, ON) On Monday November 11, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. Perth County OPP officers responded to 3 other collisions. At approximately 6 p.m. a car entered the ditch along Road 119 (Hwy 7) near Perth Line 20. At 6:30 p.m. a pickup truck ended up in the ditch along Road 119 north of Stratford. At 8:21 p.m. a car lost control and struck a hydro pole along Line 16 near Russeldale (there was no power outage). None of the three drivers sustained injuries as a result of these collisions.
With winter weather approaching and a snow squall watch issued for Perth County, drivers are urged to Stay Alert, slow down and stay in control. Drive according to road and weather conditions. Keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of you to avoid situations where you may have to brake suddenly on slippery roadways.
