(HURON EAST, ON) – A 22 year old male from Seaforth is facing three drug possession charges following the execution of a police search warrant. On July 3, 2013 members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron County Detachment along with assistance from the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at a residence located on Lloyd Eisler Street in Seaforth, Ontario.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized a quantity of illegal drugs including: Cannabis Resin, Cannabis Marihuana and Codeine. The estimated combined street value of the controlled substances is approximately $160.
As a result of the investigation, Adam ALBRECHT (22) from Seaforth has been charged with Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana Under 30 grams contrary to section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Possession of Schedule II Cannabis Resin contrary to section 4 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of Schedule I Codeine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He has court date scheduled for Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on September 16, 2013.
