(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On November 28, 2016 at approximately 10:10 p.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on routine patrol observed an individual on an e-bike traveling on a sidewalk on Main Street that exhibited signs of impairment.
This motor vehicle was stopped and a Police Check of the e-bike revealed that it was not being propelled by human power, that the operator had a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana in his possession and that he was operating this motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Charged with “Impaired Operation” and “Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking” is Jessie HENDRY 26 years old from Wasaga Beach. First appearance was November 29, 2016 in Barrie Court.
