(BLUEWATER, ON) – A 28 year old driver will have to find alternative transportation this week after he was caught speeding and his vehicle was impounded last night. On Sunday, March 22, 2015 at approximately 7:50 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a Chevrolet Malibu travelling northbound on London Road at a high rate of speed. The officer used a RADAR device to confirm his observations and was able to measure the vehicle’s speed at 131 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The apologetic driver was served with an automatic seven day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle was seized for seven days. Edward CRAYFORD-BROWN, 28, from Bluewater has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He has a scheduled court appearance for April 21, 2015 at Provincial Offences Act court in Goderich.
