(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 27-year-old from Huron East is facing drug possession charges following an arrest made by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) last week.
Shortly before the noon hour on February 8, 2018 Huron OPP had an opportunity to cross paths with a wanted female on Victoria Street in Clinton. Police had information the female had a valid arrest warrant on file for failing to comply with a condition of a court release.
The wanted party was ultimately arrested and taken into custody. Upon searching the accused police found the female in possession of small quantities of cannabis marihuana and suspected methamphetamine.
As a result, 27-year-old Jacklyn SERERES from Huron East has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I & II Substance. She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 5, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
