(Exeter, ON.) – On September 29th, 2009 members of the Ontario Provincial Police Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, along with members of the Huron County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act Search Warrant at a residence in the Municipality of South Huron.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of processed marihuana and marihuana plants.
The seized controlled substances have an estimated street value of $260,500.00.
Charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking are Jean Carroll (52 yrs), Jason Carroll (29 yrs) and James McVeeney (48 yrs) all of the Municipality of South Huron.
All three accused persons have been released from custody and are to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on November 26th, 2009 to answer to their charges.
