25 Year Old Caught Doing 110 in an 80 On Londesboro Road

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 25 year old driver had his driver’s licence suspended following a traffic stop on December 12, 2014. At approximately 7:40 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a GMC Sierra pickup truck travelling southbound on Londesboro Road at a high rate of speed. The officer confirmed his observations with a RADAR device and captured the driver’s speed at 110 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and police spoke with the driver. Upon speaking with the male driver the officer noted the driver had been consuming alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a warn range reading.

As a result, a 25 year old driver from Central Huron was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
